She also ran her own grooming business for 7 years previous to her start in training. Areas of training expertise include: Evaluating dogs for temperment and trainability; Counseling dog owners on behavior and problem solving; Obedience for the home companion dog: along with; owner/handler instruction. Specialty dog training includes; service dogs for the physically challenged, personal protection, scent detection (cadaver, narcotics and arson), area guard dog and the selection and placement of dogs with autistic children. To date she has trained approximately 2500 dogs.
